It starts with a beautiful magnetic, snap closure, presentation box in either Ivory or our luxurious red matt pearl lustre finish. When empty this doubles as a personal treasure chest or photo box so no wasted packaging here!
Inside we carefully gift wrap and pack an exquisite, artisan Italian wine from Fernanda Cappello’s ancient vineyard in Sequals. Exclusive to our gift boxes you can choose either a bottle of Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso. A classic, deep ruby coloured, vintage red which ancient Roman writers and personalities often sang the praises and still do to this day! This deeply coloured wine is robust and full-bodied with discernible tannins yet polished and supple with black fruit flavours and almond notes. It has a long and pleasant finish marked with notes of plums and currants OR a bottle of dry white, Friulano Friuli Grave.
Protected from harsh winter conditions by the nearby Alps, soft and fresh to the palate without sharp edges, the very unique combination of soil, climate and grape produces a very special white wine that has become not only the definitive standard for the Friuli Grave wine but also the flag bearer for the Friuli region.
To accompany the wine there is also a beautifully presented box containing 14 pieces of artisan, luxury, hand made, gourmet chocolates, from award winning Chocolatier, Bean & Pod. The dark chocolate fillings include Salted Caramel, Praline, Coffee, Nougatine, Turkish Delicacy and Strawberry Cream.
